Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adriaan Heinen got the match started through his kick off. Bilboa Emphes's Chris van Olst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriaan Heinen in the 4th minute of play. Henk de Kort kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Pascall Visscher fired a really elegant long shot, but Chris van Olst threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. A collision led to Bilboa Emphes getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Henk de Kort hit a great ball. If Jhon Korfs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Remus Robu came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Bilboa Emphes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remus Robu couldn't finish the play. Henk de Kort kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Dick Sturm took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Chris van Olst to make any attempt to save it. In the 29th minute of the game, Fredrik Kleen landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Damien van Dinteren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barry Bosma's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Bilboa Emphes's Chris van Olst proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Bilboa Emphes from getting a goal against them. Geert Arend Blikman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Damien van Dinteren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, MJStar's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Bosma came free, but Damien van Dinteren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barry Bosma in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damien van Dinteren saved MJStar from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, Bilboa Emphes's goal looked a bit too open when Adriaan Heinen came free, but Chris van Olst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klaas Holsmuller struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Chris van Olst didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MJStar. After some careless play in the Bilboa Emphes defense, Jhon Korfs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chris van Olst. The Bilboa Emphes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chris van Olst should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barry Bosma to make the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MJStar! In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Bilboa Emphes. Barry Bosma stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Damien van Dinteren. 2-2. Damien van Dinteren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geert Arend Blikman in the 59th minute. Barry Bosma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damien van Dinteren having to interfere. In the 67th minute Adriaan Heinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chris van Olst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chris van Olst came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by MJStar's Giovanni den Engelsman. But to his dismay, Giovanni den Engelsman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The supporters of Bilboa Emphes booed when MJStar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jhon Korfs didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Jhon Korfs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chris van Olst was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Chris van Olst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jhon Korfs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geert Arend Blikman scored 4-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damien van Dinteren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriaan Heinen in the 90th minute of play forced Bilboa Emphes's goalkeeper Chris van Olst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damien van Dinteren was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gert Israel. After a rather tough play, Bilboa Emphes's Remus Robu got a free kick in the 96th minute. 99 minutes into the match, Bilboa Emphes's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Sturm came free, but Chris van Olst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, MJStar could leave the field as winners, despite Bilboa Emphes having more of the ball for most of the match.
