The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leendert Sleiffer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Selami Şatıroğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leendert Sleiffer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 22ndth minute of the game Selami Şatıroğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ledeakker S.C.'s Leendert Sleiffer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leendert Sleiffer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Jans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Selami Şatıroğlu put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Leendert Sleiffer. Jacob Need kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Job Haydon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venesluis S.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ledeakker S.C. the free kick. In the 32nd minute, Job Haydon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Selami Şatıroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leendert Sleiffer having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Selami Şatıroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leendert Sleiffer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Selami Şatıroğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leendert Sleiffer was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After having played for 45 minutes, Selami Şatıroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Venesluis S.C.'s Selami Şatıroğlu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leendert Sleiffer. That made the score 0-5 after 52 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Selami Şatıroğlu in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leendert Sleiffer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Bekker during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Venesluis S.C. booed when Ledeakker S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. If Selami Şatıroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frans Bults's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leendert Sleiffer firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 69thth minute of the game Selami Şatıroğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ledeakker S.C.'s Leendert Sleiffer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Leendert Sleiffer managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Venesluis S.C.'s Selami Şatıroğlu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roy Neeskens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Leendert Sleiffer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Selami Şatıroğlu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Leendert Sleiffer made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Mark Jans sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Ledeakker S.C. defense, Selami Şatıroğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leendert Sleiffer. The Ledeakker S.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leendert Sleiffer should have stopped the shot. In the last second Leendert Sleiffer throw himself and got hold of the ball when Selami Şatıroğlu in the 93rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The Ledeakker S.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Venesluis S.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
