Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bingerden FC's Carsten Sluis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bingerden FC's Martijn van der Gun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bas Saanen in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 minutes of play, Harenkarspel's Bas Saanen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martijn van der Gun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martijn van der Gun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bas Saanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harenkarspel's Jan Rein van Rijswijk got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bingerden FC's goalkeeper Martijn van der Gun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carsten Sluis in the 17th minute of play forced Harenkarspel's goalkeeper Reinhard Evans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reinhard Evans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dennis Akkerman went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute Jan Rein van Rijswijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martijn van der Gun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Rein van Rijswijk took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martijn van der Gun. Martijn van der Gun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 27th minute Julius Wit suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Sjaak Kristoffers charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sjaak Kristoffers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sjaak Kristoffers hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes Harenkarspel got a freekick which was hit by Jan Rein van Rijswijk. A collision led to Bingerden FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Carsten Sluis hit a great ball. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bingerden FC's goalkeeper Martijn van der Gun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Harenkarspel's Bas Saanen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martijn van der Gun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Bingerden FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Rein van Rijswijk came free, but Martijn van der Gun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jan Rein van Rijswijk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan Rein van Rijswijk to strike the kick off in the second half. Martijn van der Gun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bas Saanen in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute, Bingerden FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sjaak Kristoffers fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 56 minutes into the match, Jan Rein van Rijswijk notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Bingerden FC's Martijn van der Gun. Martijn van der Gun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teun Kiewit during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carsten Sluis's late challenge caught a Harenkarspel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carsten Sluis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Bingerden FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carsten Sluis to maneuver through the defense. Jan Rein van Rijswijk struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Martijn van der Gun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harenkarspel. If Bas Saanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bingerden FC's Martijn van der Gun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Bingerden FC from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the match, Bingerden FC's goalkeeper Martijn van der Gun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bas Saanen. If Dennis Akkerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martijn van der Gun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Rein van Rijswijk in the 91st minute of the match. Bas Saanen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Martijn van der Gun made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Harenkarspel eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
