Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nathan Ijspol kicked off to start the match. If Marinus Hegeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Hool getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Dirk van Kempen hit a great ball. Opijnen S.C.'s Harold Meinders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marinus Hegeman in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogier van Steensel in the 9th minute of play forced Opijnen S.C.'s goalkeeper Harold Meinders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hool's Marinus Hegeman got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Opijnen S.C.'s Nathan Ijspol slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Domenik Buskermolen. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. Opijnen S.C.'s Harold Meinders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogier van Steensel in the 21st minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hool's goalkeeper Domenik Buskermolen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 33 played minutes Hool got a freekick which was hit by Dirk van Kempen. Nathan Ijspol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogier van Steensel struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Harold Meinders didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hool.

In the 52nd minute, Hool's Marinus Hegeman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Harold Meinders. Harold Meinders yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 57 minutes into the match, Opijnen S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marinus Hegeman came free, but Harold Meinders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The goalkeeper, Harold Meinders, was totally fooled by Hool's Jacob Bas, who 61 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in Opijnen S.C.'s zone, Marinus Hegeman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harold Meinders came out of the goal and Marinus Hegeman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domenik Buskermolen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nathan Ijspol in the 68th minute of play. Domenik Buskermolen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Ritsma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domenik Buskermolen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Ritsma in the 78th minute of the match. Rob Helwig charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rob Helwig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lukas Ritsma struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Domenik Buskermolen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Opijnen S.C.. After 84 minutes, Dirk van Kempen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hool and the Opijnen S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Opijnen S.C. booed when Hool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dirk van Kempen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Opijnen S.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leon Siepel in the 87th minute. Nathan Ijspol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Domenik Buskermolen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lukas Ritsma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Opijnen S.C.'s Nathan Ijspol got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Hool supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hool would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
