The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kallenbroek's Job Busch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerrie Huisingh in the 3rd minute of play. Job Busch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerrie Huisingh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yorrick Harmens charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yorrick Harmens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Job Busch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerrie Huisingh in the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to Kallenbroek getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Yorrick Harmens hit a great ball. Quantum FC's Guus Penders got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Job Busch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Pilage in the 14th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Mathias Pilage ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Job Busch was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 20th minute, Peter Kleiker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mart Dirks might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregor Siepel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mart Dirks ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Kristian Paauwe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kallenbroek's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristian Paauwe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregor Siepel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute Mathias Pilage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Job Busch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Pilage in the 38th minute of play forced Kallenbroek's goalkeeper Job Busch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Mathias Pilage who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kallenbroek's Job Busch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kallenbroek's zone, Mathias Pilage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Job Busch came out of the goal and Mathias Pilage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Gerrie Huisingh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quantum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerrie Huisingh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Job Busch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Kallenbroek players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Quantum FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mathias Pilage stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mart Dirks hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the game, Bram Roodenburg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kallenbroek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quantum FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kallenbroek's Bram Roodenburg got a free kick in the 56th minute. Kallenbroek's Kristian Paauwe suffered a sprained foot after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 62nd match minute, Quantum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danny Euving to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Peter Koopmans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kallenbroek's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Koopmans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregor Siepel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilfred Lever charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Mathias Pilage who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Job Busch when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kallenbroek's Job Busch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Kallenbroek from getting a goal against them. Gerrie Huisingh might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Job Busch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerrie Huisingh ran back to his position shaking his head. Quantum FC's Mathias Pilage got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 96 in the game by Mathias Pilage from a close distance when the talented Job Busch managed to make a qualified save. Kallenbroek's players were relieved. Quantum FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
