Vincent Pothuizen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniël Heida in the 58th minute of the match. Vincent Pothuizen was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 66th minute Pim Hosson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Pothuizen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniël Heida kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. AFC Ajax's Geert Arend Riemers got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AFC Ajax's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
