Martien Middel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arjen Oosterveld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Paradijs HC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Vergelt's Eddy Castelen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 7th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Paradijs HC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Gierman during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Paradijs HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Gierman to maneuver through the defense. Arjen Oosterveld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martien Middel having to interfere. With a little luck, Paradijs HC's Remond Bosschaart got control of the ball when Florian Karremans tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Arjen Oosterveld made a precise shot to the right of Martien Middel. Vergelt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabiën Vonk made a kick off. Fabiën Vonk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Remond Bosschaart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rien Asselbergss short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Martien Middel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 61st match minute, Paradijs HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferry Dolfing to maneuver through the defense. Vergelt's Sjoerd van der Aa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Paradijs HC. After a rather tough play, Vergelt's Jan-Peter Medgyesi got a free kick in the 64th minute. Melvin van Zalingen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martien Middel having to interfere. In the 74th minute Melvin van Zalingen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martien Middel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melvin van Zalingen scored 1-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martien Middel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute, Melvin van Zalingen had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee ignored Vergelt's protests and gave Jan-Peter Medgyesi a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Vergelt:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Paradijs HC:s goal. Olof Saarloos walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After a rather tough play, Vergelt's Eddy Castelen got a free kick in the 86th minute. Arjen Oosterveld struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Martien Middel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paradijs HC. After a defensive mix-up in Vergelt's zone, Arjen Oosterveld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martien Middel came out of the goal and Arjen Oosterveld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
