Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kristian Daalmeyer made the kick off and thus started the match. vv Octavia's Pablo-Enrique Remmelts got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of vv Octavia booed when Barrier fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaas Jan Ommen didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Babe Schatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Bennie Lute had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo-Enrique Remmelts in the 18th minute of play forced Barrier fc's goalkeeper Rik de Ridder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute of the match vv Octavia got a corner. Barrier fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gerben Muskee ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bennie Lute was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Bennie Lute sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rik de Ridder came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by vv Octavia's Pablo-Enrique Remmelts. But to his dismay, Pablo-Enrique Remmelts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Pablo-Enrique Remmelts charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo-Enrique Remmelts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes vv Octavia got a freekick which was hit by Pablo-Enrique Remmelts. In the 39th minute, Babe Schatz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rik de Ridder. The goal made the score 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pablo-Enrique Remmelts was the one to do the kick off. If Bennie Lute had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bennie Lute sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Barrier fc's goal looked a bit too open when Babe Schatz came free, but Rik de Ridder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bennie Lute struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Rik de Ridder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for vv Octavia. vv Octavia's Pablo-Enrique Remmelts got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rik de Ridder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babe Schatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo-Enrique Remmelts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rik de Ridder having to interfere. Rik de Ridder came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by vv Octavia's Pablo-Enrique Remmelts. But to his dismay, Pablo-Enrique Remmelts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Gerben Muskee hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. vv Octavia's Pablo-Enrique Remmelts got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When vv Octavia's Pablo-Enrique Remmelts in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barrier fc's goalie prevented a goal. 87 minutes into the match, Barrier fc's goal looked a bit too open when Babe Schatz came free, but Rik de Ridder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo-Enrique Remmelts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rik de Ridder having to interfere. vv Octavia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
