Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Melvin Redan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Staatsliedenwijk's Ronald Alkema played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melvin Redan in the 3rd minute of play. In the 3rd match minute, Staatsliedenwijk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donald Akkerman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gido Brinker in the 4th minute of play forced Staatsliedenwijk's goalkeeper Ronald Alkema to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronald Alkema showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenik Lyesen in the 7th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ralph Egberts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Staatsliedenwijk's supporters rose to their feet, but Ralph Egberts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Han Mussies breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ralph Egberts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronald Alkema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenik Lyesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Melvin Redan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronald Alkema having to interfere. Ronald Alkema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gido Brinker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Kees de Hoop managed to get in a good position for a shot. Staatsliedenwijk's supporters rose to their feet, but Kees de Hoop was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Han Mussies breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Heukelom Utd's Domenik Lyesen got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 36th minute, Staatsliedenwijk's Remco Cales ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Han Mussies. Han Mussies yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0.

With an all-out effort, Heukelom Utd's Ronald Alkema threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Melvin Redan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 54th minute, Donald Akkerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronald Alkema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melvin Redan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the game, Heukelom Utd's Lex Schildkamp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronald Alkema made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ralph Egberts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remco Cales might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Han Mussies. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remco Cales ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 75 minutes, Remco Cales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Staatsliedenwijk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remco Cales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ralph Egberts came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Staatsliedenwijk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralph Egberts couldn't finish the play. When Kees de Hoop came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Staatsliedenwijk fans jumped to their feet. Remco Cales's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Han Mussies read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Staatsliedenwijk were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
