Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Filip Meier made the kick off which started today's match. Jurjen Need's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Taco Wessel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the last second Taco Wessel throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jan Moek in the 15thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 15 played minutes Pijnakker Excelsior got a freekick which was hit by Joep Deitmers. 19 minutes into the game, Pepijn Kimman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Teuge FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pijnakker Excelsior the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Hans Mos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 23 minutes, Filip Meier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pijnakker Excelsior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Meier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filip Meier in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bas Bos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Teuge FC's zone, Filip Meier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bas Bos came out of the goal and Filip Meier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henry Stekelenburg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bas Bos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan Moek to strike the kick off in the second half. Filip Meier was extremely unlucky when he, in the 55th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 60th minute of the match Toni Hovenkamp sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Taco Wessel skillfully saved the ball. Albert Struik hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Taco Wessel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Moek, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Jan Moek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taco Wessel having to interfere. If Henry Stekelenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the game, Henk-Jan Denneboom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Teuge FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pijnakker Excelsior the free kick. When Jurjen Need came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Teuge FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jurjen Need couldn't finish the play. Pijnakker Excelsior's Taco Wessel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Moek in the 86th minute of play. Henry Stekelenburg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bas Bos made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Filip Meier sent off a good shot on target. Albert Struik hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes Pijnakker Excelsior got a freekick which was hit by Joop Rogaars. When the referee blew the final whistle, Teuge FC could leave the field as winners, despite Pijnakker Excelsior having more of the ball for most of the match.
