Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jan Moek took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Balinge HC's Cor Oorthuis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bas Bos. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Jurjen Need fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurice Janssens having to interfere. Pepijn Kimman kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Maurice Janssens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurjen Need, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Moek in the 17th minute of play forced Balinge HC's goalkeeper Maurice Janssens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 played minutes Balinge HC got a freekick which was hit by Paul Berg. After a rather tough play, Balinge HC's Erwin Reitsema got a free kick in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Teuge FC's zone, Cor Oorthuis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bas Bos came out of the goal and Cor Oorthuis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Teuge FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Pepijn Kimman hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Balinge HC defense, Jurjen Need kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurice Janssens. The Balinge HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurice Janssens should have stopped the shot. Jan Moek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maurice Janssens having to make a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cor Oorthuis to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Balinge HC's Lennart Jaliens got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Balinge HC's goalkeeper Maurice Janssens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cor Oorthuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes, Johannes van Bommel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balinge HC and the Teuge FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Jan Moek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jurjen Need struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Maurice Janssens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teuge FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Jan Moek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teuge FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Moek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurice Janssens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Teuge FC booed when Balinge HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederik Swerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balinge HC's Maurice Janssens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Balinge HC from getting a goal against them. If Jurjen Need had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jurjen Need sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maurice Janssens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Moek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the match, Balinge HC's goalkeeper Maurice Janssens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jurjen Need. Teuge FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Balinge HC had won, even though Teuge FC had held more of the ball.
