Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Weiteveen's Harry Roeles started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pierre Vliet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tjeerd Kun in the 6th minute of the match. FC Cappuccino's Melvin Appel got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robin Hofs's late challenge caught a FC Cappuccino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Hofs helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Weiteveen got a freekick which was hit by Robin Hofs. After a defensive mix-up in Weiteveen's zone, Melvin Appel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre Vliet came out of the goal and Melvin Appel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Melvin Appel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes Weiteveen got a freekick which was hit by Cees Plescher. Weiteveen's Pierre Vliet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tjeerd Kun in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute Robin Hofs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Coos Westerhof saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Weiteveen's Pierre Vliet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melvin Appel in the 41st minute of play. Melvin Appel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Pierre Vliet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tjeerd Kun made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Weiteveen's zone, Theo Mans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre Vliet came out of the goal and Theo Mans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the last second Pierre Vliet throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tjeerd Kun in the 55thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Pierre Vliet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tjeerd Kun, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Cees Plescher kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. FC Cappuccino's Melvin Appel got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Cappuccino's Arie Sándor got a free kick in the 69th minute. Melvin Appel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tjeerd Kun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Weiteveen's Pierre Vliet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Weiteveen from getting a goal against them. With his leg Pierre Vliet managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when FC Cappuccino's Melvin Appel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 87 minutes into the match, Weiteveen's goalkeeper Pierre Vliet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melvin Appel. Tjeerd Kun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Vliet having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Melvin Appel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Cappuccino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melvin Appel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, one of Weiteveen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Weiteveen. FC Cappuccino's Melvin Appel got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 98 played minutes Weiteveen got a freekick which was hit by Harry Roeles. Weiteveen succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FC Cappuccino had controlled the match.
