Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kristof Deiman started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute of the match Ronny Rogaars shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roelof Kort showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 6th minute, Heiko Euving got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Tynaarlo booed when FC Wv Noord was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfred Nijhof didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristof Deiman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sipke Deuring in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roelof Kort prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th match minute, Tynaarlo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaus Huizing to maneuver through the defense. Richard Korfs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roelof Kort having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Sipke Deuring had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roelof Kort. Tynaarlo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sipke Deuring was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Eric Boekholt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristof Deiman's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. If Kristof Deiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36thth minute of the game Kristof Deiman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wv Noord's Eric Boekholt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute Sipke Deuring shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roelof Kort saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bennie Sloedingen kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Sipke Deuring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ab Haas fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tynaarlo's protests and gave Ab Haas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, one of Tynaarlo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tynaarlo. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Richard Korfs was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristof Deiman in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Wv Noord's goalkeeper Eric Boekholt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tynaarlo's zone, Sipke Deuring stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roelof Kort came out of the goal and Sipke Deuring tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richard Korfs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roelof Kort having to interfere. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Wv Noord's goalkeeper Eric Boekholt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tynaarlo's Roy Meier got a free kick in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Wv Noord's Ronny Rogaars got a free kick in the 68th minute. Roelof Kort showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Korfs in the 72nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Tynaarlo's Roelof Kort got control of the ball when Sipke Deuring tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Wv Noord's Sipke Deuring got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eric Boekholt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiko Euving in the 89th minute of the match. The FC Wv Noord supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Wv Noord would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
