An unexpectedly hard shot by Harm Mastebroek in the 10th minute of play forced Oosterleek S.V.'s goalkeeper Iwan van Diemen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Oosterleek S.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobus Brinks to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute of the match Henk Meijeringh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iwan van Diemen skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Teun Klasens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gijs Holt was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. If Frans Sloedingen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, one of Oosterleek S.V.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Oosterleek S.V.. The referee gave Klaterbuurt a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Henk Meijeringh, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Oosterleek S.V.'s Iwan van Diemen. 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Harm Mastebroek made the kick off in the second half. Oosterleek S.V.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Frans Sloedingen scored to the left of an out of position Iwan van Diemen, making the score, 0-2. Marc van der Gun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teun Klasens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gijs Holt having to interfere. Marc van der Gun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Gijs Holt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Frans Sloedingen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iwan van Diemen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Harm Mastebroek showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 78 minute of play. Iwan van Diemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harm Mastebroek in the 89th minute of play. When the match was over Klaterbuurt could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Oosterleek S.V. throughout the match.
