Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Billy van der Werff made the kick off which started today's match. Billy van der Werff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Koos Fuchs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Schirring scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Koos Fuchs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 23 minutes, René Hoven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gorsel S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but René Hoven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Zwaanswijk in the 25th minute of play forced DTC United's goalkeeper Freek Mulders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If René Hoven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, DTC United's goal looked a bit too open when René Hoven came free, but Freek Mulders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Freek Mulders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Zwaanswijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Alex Zwaanswijk sped through DTC United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Freek Mulders. René Hoven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freek Mulders having to interfere. Freek Mulders came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Gorsel S.C.'s Alex Zwaanswijk. But to his dismay, Alex Zwaanswijk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Freek Mulders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Zwaanswijk in the 44th minute of play. Andreas Schirring received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Koos Fuchs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Gorsel S.C. were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Zwaanswijk to make the kick off. Koos Fuchs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Schirring, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Freek Mulders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Zwaanswijk in the 55th minute of play. If Andreas Schirring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freek Mulders made an important save on a dangerous shot by René Hoven in the 62nd minute. The supporters of DTC United booed when Gorsel S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans-Cees Randag didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freek Mulders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Zwaanswijk in the 65th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes DTC United got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Driel. If Alex Zwaanswijk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Andreas Schirring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. René Hoven who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Freek Mulders when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 75 minutes, Roland Sybering mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gorsel S.C. and the DTC United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Gorsel S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Sybering to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otto Hemmen during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, DTC United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Hemmen to maneuver through the defense. Gorsel S.C.'s René Hoven came free and shot a quick shot against goal 81 minutes in the game, fortunately Freek Mulders had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 85th minute, Gorsel S.C.'s Alex Zwaanswijk ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Freek Mulders. Freek Mulders yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Gorsel S.C.'s Koos Fuchs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy van der Werff in the 88th minute of play. René Hoven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freek Mulders having to interfere. In the 95th minute Alex Zwaanswijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freek Mulders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gorsel S.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
