Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Alex Zwaanswijk made the kick off and thus started the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Domenik Wessels managed to get in a good position for a shot. Middele's supporters rose to their feet, but Domenik Wessels was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Koos Fuchs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 5 minutes into the match, Domenik Wessels dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Koos Fuchs, 1-0. In the 10th play minute Domenik Wessels came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Koos Fuchs. 2-0. With a little luck, Gorsel S.C.'s Koos Fuchs got control of the ball when Domenik Wessels tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Domenik Wessels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Rik van der Sar from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Koos Fuchs's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, René Hoven managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gorsel S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but René Hoven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Soer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute, Alex Zwaanswijk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dennis Soer was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After having played for 33 minutes, Roland Sybering managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gorsel S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Sybering was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronald Berg kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute René Hoven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Soer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dennis Soer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from René Hoven in the 40th minute of play. René Hoven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Roordink was the one to do the kick off. 2-2 became the score in the 54th minute when Alex Zwaanswijk elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Domenik Wessels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Alex Zwaanswijk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dennis Soer. Alex Zwaanswijk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. 71 minutes into the match, Middele's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Zwaanswijk came free, but Dennis Soer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Soer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Zwaanswijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans-Cees Randag during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gorsel S.C.'s Koos Fuchs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenik Wessels in the 88th minute of play. Koos Fuchs didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domenik Wessels went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Alex Zwaanswijk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Soer having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
