Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Elmar Berendt kicked off to start the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Bjorn van Boxel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Overbroek S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Bjorn van Boxel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bjorn van Boxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bas Franssen having to interfere. Gerald Huizen charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerald Huizen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bjorn van Boxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bas Franssen having to interfere. In the 11th play minute Laurens Saarloos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bas Franssen. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Overbroek S.C.'s zone, Emiel Klaus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boudewijn Everts came out of the goal and Emiel Klaus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Overbroek S.C.'s Boudewijn Everts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiel Klaus in the 22nd minute of play. Elmar Berendt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bjorn van Boxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Straat SC's Bas Franssen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Straat SC from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, Straat SC's goalkeeper Bas Franssen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laurens Saarloos. Laurens Saarloos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bas Franssen having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nathan van der Meer during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 41 minutes into the match, Straat SC's goalkeeper Bas Franssen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laurens Saarloos.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bjorn van Boxel to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Overbroek S.C.'s Laurens Saarloos made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bas Franssen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Reinhard Breugel charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinhard Breugel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Straat SC booed when Overbroek S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinhard Breugel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 minutes, Tonny Eggens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Overbroek S.C. and the Straat SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes Overbroek S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tonny Eggens. Boudewijn Everts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmar Berendt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Straat SC's Emiel Klaus got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elmar Berendt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Overbroek S.C.'s goalkeeper Boudewijn Everts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiel Klaus. In the 82ndth minute of the game Laurens Saarloos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Straat SC's Bas Franssen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laurens Saarloos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bas Franssen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Laurens Saarloos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Laurens Saarloos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bas Franssen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tonny Eggens hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Overbroek S.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Straat SC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
