Jhon Cornelisse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick Wiggers in the 9th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Mispeleind S.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Roel Daverveld came free, but Hans-Cees de Boer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Eefting in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans-Cees de Boer saved Mispeleind S.V. from getting behind. Roland Eefting fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans-Cees de Boer having to interfere. When Bakkeveen FC's Roel Daverveld in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iwan Oosterhof got free with Hans-Cees de Boer in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roel Daverveld was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Bakkeveen FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Hans-Cees de Boer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roel Daverveld's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Roel Daverveld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Hans-Cees de Boer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Mispeleind S.V. booed when Bakkeveen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yorrick Nyemanting didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mispeleind S.V.'s goalkeeper Hans-Cees de Boer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There was no doubt that Bakkeveen FC were the better team. Bakkeveen FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
