Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bjorn van Boxel kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Bakkeveen FC got a freekick which was hit by Rien Degeling. Roel Daverveld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Boudewijn Everts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gerald Reints fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bakkeveen FC's protests and gave Gerald Reints a yellow card for diving instead. Bakkeveen FC's Jhon Cornelisse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bjorn van Boxel in the 16th minute of play. Overbroek S.C.'s Laurens Saarloos got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Jeffrey Werner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roel Daverveld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bakkeveen FC booed when Overbroek S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaus Dijkman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rien Degeling hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Roel Daverveld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boudewijn Everts having to interfere. Overbroek S.C.'s Laurens Saarloos got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roel Daverveld was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bjorn van Boxel during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bjorn van Boxel kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Tonny Eggens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Overbroek S.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bakkeveen FC the free kick. A collision led to Overbroek S.C. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tonny Eggens hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bakkeveen FC's zone, Laurens Saarloos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jhon Cornelisse came out of the goal and Laurens Saarloos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Bakkeveen FC's Roel Daverveld sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boudewijn Everts narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jhon Cornelisse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurens Saarloos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurens Saarloos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jhon Cornelisse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bjorn van Boxel came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Overbroek S.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bjorn van Boxel couldn't finish the play. Jhon Cornelisse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurens Saarloos in the 76th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bakkeveen FC's Gerald Reints got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Bjorn van Boxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Laurens Saarloos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jhon Cornelisse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurens Saarloos's shot from short distance in the 89th minute.
