Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 3rd play minutes Roelof van Zelst shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Tommie Hoezen and just under the crossbar into goal. Roelof van Zelst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hans-Cees Colen fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sibenlo HC's protests and gave Hans-Cees Colen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Overboeicop booed when Sibenlo HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans-Cees Colen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Sjors Genkenaar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roland van Steensel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Looze in the 28th minute of play forced Sibenlo HC's goalkeeper Tommie Hoezen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sibenlo HC's zone, Roelof van Zelst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommie Hoezen came out of the goal and Roelof van Zelst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tommie Hoezen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Looze in the 31st minute of play. Julius Looze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Tommie Hoezen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sjors Genkenaar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland van Steensel having to interfere. Roelof van Zelst succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 38th playminute. The audience was convinced that Sjors Genkenaar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roland van Steensel was relentless in the 41st minute of the game.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julius Looze to strike the kick off in the second half. Tommie Hoezen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roelof van Zelst in the 55th minute of play. In the 60thth minute of the game Julius Looze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sibenlo HC's Tommie Hoezen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Sibenlo HC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Meindert Oorschot hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sibenlo HC's zone, Roelof van Zelst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommie Hoezen came out of the goal and Roelof van Zelst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sibenlo HC's Tommie Hoezen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roelof van Zelst in the 69th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, Sibenlo HC's Izaak Mülder made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roland van Steensel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 73 minutes into the match, Overboeicop's goalkeeper Roland van Steensel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sjors Genkenaar. If Izaak Mülder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes, Izaak Mülder made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Overboeicop's Roland van Steensel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th minute Julius Looze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie Hoezen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Overboeicop's Roland van Steensel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izaak Mülder in the 86th minute of play. Sibenlo HC's Sjors Genkenaar got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Izaak Mülder might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roland van Steensel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Izaak Mülder ran back to his position shaking his head. Sjors Genkenaar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland van Steensel having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Harold van Fessum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
