After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Roelof van Zelst managed to get in a good position for a shot. Overboeicop's supporters rose to their feet, but Roelof van Zelst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andreas Fleur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Broekerhaven's Andreas Fleur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julius Looze in the 5th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geale Schipper stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andreas Fleur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roelof van Zelst, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Overboeicop's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roelof van Zelst was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Broekerhaven's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Idelberger came free, but Andreas Fleur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Roelof van Zelst cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Andreas Fleur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Overboeicop's Julius Looze got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Broekerhaven's goalkeeper Andreas Fleur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Overboeicop booed when Broekerhaven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Joost Ensing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roelof van Zelst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
