Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Riemer Gulpen kicked off to start the match. Dries Paauwe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wessel Bette in the 5th minute. Dronrijp S.V.'s Wessel Bette got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Middenvoort HC's Dries Paauwe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daan Castelen in the 9th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Riemer Gulpen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaap Ginneken was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Erben Kik hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Jaap Ginneken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Riemer Gulpen in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Job Heinen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaap Ginneken skillfully saved the ball. Izaak Hofman hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Dries Paauwe made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Wessel Bette sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Dronrijp S.V.'s goalkeeper Jaap Ginneken, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jaap Ginneken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izaak Hofman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gert Hesp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jaap Ginneken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dries Paauwe came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Dronrijp S.V.'s Wessel Bette. But to his dismay, Wessel Bette quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gert Hesp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Marco Roswinkel kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Wessel Bette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Dries Paauwe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Dronrijp S.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Riemer Gulpen came free, but Jaap Ginneken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Riemer Gulpen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jaap Ginneken, 1-1. Jaap Ginneken made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Gert Hesp sent off a good shot on target. Allard Bernard's late challenge caught a Middenvoort HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allard Bernard helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dronrijp S.V.'s Allard Bernard got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Dronrijp S.V.'s Wessel Bette in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Middenvoort HC's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Middenvoort HC defense, Wessel Bette kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dries Paauwe. The Middenvoort HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dries Paauwe should have stopped the shot. Wessel Bette struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Dries Paauwe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dronrijp S.V.. The audience was convinced that Riemer Gulpen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaap Ginneken was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Middenvoort HC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dronrijp S.V..
