In the 2nd minute of the match Bernard Kromme sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jean-Paul Gerfen skillfully saved the ball. Youri Planting stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Ottenhof's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. The audience was convinced that Joost Baars's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Youri Planting was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 10thth minute of the game Oscar Ottenhof who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legemeer's Youri Planting was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Legemeer getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Olof Eringa hit a great ball. Joost Baars kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 14 minutes, Joost Baars made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Legemeer's Youri Planting tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Youri Planting stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joost Baars's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. AFC tygoat's Jean-Paul Gerfen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save AFC tygoat from getting a goal against them. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robbie Heide during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Robbie Heide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Joost Baars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Youri Planting saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

If Joost Baars had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AFC tygoat's Timmie Daems shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 56th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Youri Planting but with some difficulty. If Oscar Ottenhof had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Ottenhof in the 79th minute of play forced Legemeer's goalkeeper Youri Planting to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Leon Hoffhuis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC tygoat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Legemeer the free kick. If Joost Baars had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of AFC tygoat booed when Legemeer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthijs Rogaars didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFC tygoat's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vincent van der Tol in the 91st minute. AFC tygoat's Vincent van der Tol was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Youri Planting in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Youri Planting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joost Baars, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joost Baars in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Youri Planting saved Legemeer from getting behind. Oscar Ottenhof took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Youri Planting. Youri Planting dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The Legemeer fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AFC tygoat were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
