Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lucien van den Akker got the match started through his kick off. Philip Hommes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wessel Theuws in the 2nd minute of play. Lenílson Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Hommes having to interfere. Gio van der Valk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucien van den Akker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Henk van der Schaaf made a precise shot to the right of Gio van der Valk. Roosendaaltjes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Mark Visser hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 24thth minute of the game Lucien van den Akker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roosendaaltjes's Gio van der Valk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gio van der Valk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucien van den Akker in the 27th minute of play. Wessel Theuws fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Hommes having to interfere. Gio van der Valk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Visser, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lenílson Santos was the one to do the kick off. Philip Hommes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bram de Rudder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gio van der Valk was a little too slow when Mark Visser got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-2. Martien Roswinkel charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martien Roswinkel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ed Winters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Gio van der Valk made a huge save. Lenílson Santos took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Philip Hommes. Philip Hommes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucien van den Akker in the 75th minute of play forced Roosendaaltjes's goalkeeper Gio van der Valk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gio van der Valk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giel Mathijsen in the 77th minute. Lenílson Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philip Hommes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenílson Santos in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute, Prinsenhage's Lucien van den Akker ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gio van der Valk. Gio van der Valk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Giel Mathijsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Prinsenhage players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
