The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lucien van den Akker took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sjef Ieberts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucien van den Akker in the 3rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lucien van den Akker sped through Dingsterveen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sjef Ieberts. 11 minutes into the match, Dingsterveen's goal looked a bit too open when Lucien van den Akker came free, but Sjef Ieberts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sjef Ieberts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucien van den Akker in the 14th minute of the match. Sjef Ieberts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ed Winters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roland Huisingh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Philip Hommes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henk van der Schaaf hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Menno Cranenburgh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Hommes having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Menno Cranenburgh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dingsterveen and the Prinsenhage players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute Ed Winters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sjef Ieberts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dingsterveen's zone, Ed Winters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sjef Ieberts came out of the goal and Ed Winters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sjef Ieberts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucien van den Akker in the 36th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucien van den Akker in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sjef Ieberts saved Dingsterveen from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, Dingsterveen's goal looked a bit too open when Lucien van den Akker came free, but Sjef Ieberts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Menno Cranenburgh was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Prinsenhage's Ed Winters slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sjef Ieberts. That made the score 0-2 after 57 minutes of play. In the 61st minute of the match, Ed Winters got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sjef Ieberts was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Dingsterveen's goalkeeper Sjef Ieberts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Dingsterveen's goal looked a bit too open when Lucien van den Akker came free, but Sjef Ieberts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucien van den Akker struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Sjef Ieberts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prinsenhage. Sjef Ieberts didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Prinsenhage's Ed Winters shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Lucien van den Akker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Sjef Ieberts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Roland Huisingh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Hommes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ed Winters struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Sjef Ieberts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prinsenhage. Lucien van den Akker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Prinsenhage's zone, Roland Huisingh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Hommes came out of the goal and Roland Huisingh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ed Winters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ed Winters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Sjef Ieberts made a huge save. If Roland Huisingh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Prinsenhage walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
