Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pieter-Jan Dost kicked off to start the match. When Fernando Pronk came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Nijnsel HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Pronk couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, VCZ's Allard Wensing got a free kick in the 5th minute. Fernando Pronk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael van Damme having to interfere. Edgar Veen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Michael van Damme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, Edgar Veen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nijnsel HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Veen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pieter-Jan Dost received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Adriaan Nagel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pieter-Jan Dost took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adriaan Nagel. Adriaan Nagel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 28 played minutes VCZ got a freekick which was hit by Pieter-Jan Dost. If Edgar Veen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Pronk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pieter-Jan Dost in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adriaan Nagel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adriaan Nagel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domenik Lurling in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Pieter-Jan Dost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriaan Nagel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pieter-Jan Dost received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Adriaan Nagel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, Nijnsel HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiel van Beukering to maneuver through the defense. In the 48thth minute of the game Domenik Lurling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nijnsel HC's Adriaan Nagel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgar Veen to make the kick off. Pieter-Jan Dost fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriaan Nagel having to interfere. After having played for 55 minutes, Domenik Lurling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 66th minute, Domenik Lurling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Pieter-Jan Dost came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the VCZ fans jumped to their feet. After 72 minutes, Emiel van Beukering mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nijnsel HC and the VCZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emiel van Beukering kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Edgar Veen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nijnsel HC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Nijnsel HC's Nick Medgyesi got a free kick in the 81st minute. Gert Ijkwezen hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. A collision led to VCZ getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Allard Wensing hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Domenik Lurling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adriaan Nagel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.
