Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stefan Oosterbaan got the match started through his kick off. When Stefan Oosterbaan fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kievitsbraak S.V.'s protests and gave Stefan Oosterbaan a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Kievitsbraak S.V. got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Oosterbaan. Kievitsbraak S.V.'s Henny Abbekerk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerben Rolink in the 14th minute of play. Harris Daverveld charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harris Daverveld the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Noordbarge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harris Daverveld to maneuver through the defense. Pieter Terpstra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Oosterbaan, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Kievitsbraak S.V.'s Stefan Oosterbaan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pieter Terpstra. That made the score 1-1 after 24 minutes of play. In the 27th minute, Jelle Werner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Kievitsbraak S.V.'s Stefan Oosterbaan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pieter Terpstra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Menno Plenter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henny Abbekerk having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vincent Hulsebos during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With his leg Pieter Terpstra managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Kievitsbraak S.V.'s Bruno Jansen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Menno Plenter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Bruno Jansen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pieter Terpstra. Noordbarge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruno Jansen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Kievitsbraak S.V.'s Alwin Kremer got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Noordbarge booed when Kievitsbraak S.V. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfried Bemmel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerben Rolink to make the kick off. Gerben Rolink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Henny Abbekerk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kievitsbraak S.V. getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jelle Werner hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Kees Knol sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henny Abbekerk skillfully saved the ball. Henny Abbekerk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerben Rolink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henny Abbekerk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerben Rolink in the 59th minute of play. Bruno Jansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter Terpstra having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerben Rolink in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henny Abbekerk saved Kievitsbraak S.V. from getting behind. Henny Abbekerk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerben Rolink in the 67th minute of the match. Pieter Terpstra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Oosterbaan, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Kievitsbraak S.V.'s Stefan Oosterbaan in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Noordbarge's goalie prevented a goal. The Kievitsbraak S.V. fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Kievitsbraak S.V.'s Stefan Oosterbaan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Menno Plenter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Henny Abbekerk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerben Rolink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Jansen in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pieter Terpstra saved Noordbarge from getting behind. When Stefan Oosterbaan came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Kievitsbraak S.V. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Oosterbaan couldn't finish the play.
