Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Patrick Mulders made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donny Savenije during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Steil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donny Savenije to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Mulders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lucien Teuben came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Pijnakker fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucien Teuben couldn't finish the play. After 10 played minutes Pijnakker got a freekick which was hit by Roderick van Gastel. Klaas Jan Ruiter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Mulders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 19 minutes, Marc Oosterveld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Steil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc Oosterveld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marc Oosterveld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ron Panter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes of play, Steil's Niels Dalman made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ron Panter was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Niels Dalman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the match, Pijnakker's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Oosterveld came free, but Ron Panter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th match minute, Pijnakker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Japke Raatjes to maneuver through the defense. Adriaan Kloppenburg, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If René van den Eede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes Steil got a freekick which was hit by Niels Dalman. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Patrick Mulders managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pijnakker's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Mulders was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klaas Jan Ruiter breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Teun Klaassen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pijnakker's Ron Panter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Oosterveld in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Lucien Teuben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaas Jan Ruiter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucien Teuben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute, Patrick Mulders left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pijnakker fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marc Oosterveld made a kick off. Ron Panter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Oosterveld in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pijnakker's zone, Niels Dalman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ron Panter came out of the goal and Niels Dalman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Pijnakker's goal looked a bit too open when Niels Dalman came free, but Ron Panter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marc Oosterveld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ron Panter having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Steil's Marc Oosterveld sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ron Panter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 77th play minutes Marc Oosterveld shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Ron Panter and just under the crossbar into goal. Lucien Teuben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Klaas Jan Ruiter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pijnakker's Lucien Teuben got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the game, Marc Oosterveld cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Ron Panter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Niels Dalman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Oosterveld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ron Panter having to interfere.
