Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rinus Theunissen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Twan Teuws received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Aad Rodenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Twan Teuws in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aad Rodenberg saved Vlodrop HC from getting behind. Mirko Meindert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aad Rodenberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerrie de Lange in the 16th minute of play forced Vorstenbosch FC's goalkeeper Hub Weerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes, Pieter Boon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vlodrop HC and the Vorstenbosch FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oscar van Rijswijk during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rinus Theunissen struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Hub Weerman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vlodrop HC. Aad Rodenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Twan Teuws, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Hub Weerman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rinus Theunissen in the 32nd minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Vorstenbosch FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rinus Theunissen came free, but Hub Weerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes Vlodrop HC got a freekick which was hit by Cees Bronkhorst. After recieving a nice pass, Vorstenbosch FC's Ate Niemeyer tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mirko Meindert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aad Rodenberg having to interfere. Gerrie de Lange recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Vorstenbosch FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vlodrop HC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Twan Teuws to strike the kick off in the second half. Hub Weerman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rinus Theunissen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Mirko Meindert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aad Rodenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Mirko Meindert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Aad Rodenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ralf Bender during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vlodrop HC! In the 74th minute, Jan Fens fired a really elegant long shot, but Hub Weerman threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. With a little luck, Vorstenbosch FC's Hub Weerman got control of the ball when Gerrie de Lange tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Rinus Theunissen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vlodrop HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rinus Theunissen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hub Weerman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gerrie de Lange scored 2-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hub Weerman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rinus Theunissen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Hub Weerman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerrie de Lange got free with Hub Weerman in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vlodrop HC's Aad Rodenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Twan Teuws in the 95th minute of play. If Gerrie de Lange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
