Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Wesley Heerspink made the kick off and thus started the match. When Wesley Heerspink fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored urk's protests and gave Wesley Heerspink a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, urk's Wesley Heerspink got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 5th match minute, Vlodrop HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frits Hollander to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 6 minutes, Wesley Heerspink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. urk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wesley Heerspink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronald Harmens in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aad Rodenberg saved Vlodrop HC from getting behind. Riemer Oldenbeuving showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rinus Theunissen, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Gerrie de Lange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute of the match Mark van Rijswijk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aad Rodenberg skillfully saved the ball. Gerrie de Lange fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Riemer Oldenbeuving having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in urk's zone, Gerrie de Lange stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Riemer Oldenbeuving came out of the goal and Gerrie de Lange tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32 played minutes Vlodrop HC got a freekick which was hit by Pieter Boon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Harmens in the 34th minute of play forced Vlodrop HC's goalkeeper Aad Rodenberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, urk's Wesley Heerspink nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aad Rodenberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronald Harmens in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aad Rodenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aad Rodenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Heerspink in the 41st minute of the match. If Gerrie de Lange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the match, Vlodrop HC's goalkeeper Aad Rodenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronald Harmens. Ronald Harmens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Aad Rodenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rinus Theunissen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Wesley Heerspink got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ronald Harmens came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the urk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronald Harmens couldn't finish the play. Wesley Heerspink's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aad Rodenberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Vlodrop HC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Kelvin Valentijn hit a great ball. Vlodrop HC's Aad Rodenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Heerspink in the 70th minute of play. Wesley Heerspink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronald Harmens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aad Rodenberg having to interfere. Aad Rodenberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Heerspink in the 81st minute of play. Ronald Harmens's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Aad Rodenberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Wesley Heerspink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aad Rodenberg made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Ronald Harmens sent off a good shot on target. Ronald Harmens who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Aad Rodenberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vlodrop HC's Gerrie de Lange got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rinus Theunissen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Riemer Oldenbeuving tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
