After a rather tough play, Vluchtenburg FC's Pascall Opdam got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Meindert Heulmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Troepmannen's attentive Melvin Bronkhorst managed to snatch the ball when Pascall Opdam made a throw-in in the 21st minute of the game. Troepmannen's Rafael Heijer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frits Nibbelke in the 31st minute of play. Wessel Wieringh came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Troepmannen's Fabian Ponk. But to his dismay, Fabian Ponk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Troepmannen walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
