Domenik van Zaanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Joost Sybering showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Ijksma in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oeienbraak's goalkeeper Felix Stout, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabian Hilhorst during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Oeienbraak booed when Lombok HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Hilhorst didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th match minute, Lombok HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Mik to maneuver through the defense. Iwan Ijksma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Jan-Joost Sybering tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Domenik van Zaanen put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jan-Joost Sybering. The crowd rose to their feet as Iwan Ijksma kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan-Joost Sybering. That made the score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. Kenneth Pander charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenneth Pander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felix Stout came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lombok HC's Klaus van Gastel. But to his dismay, Klaus van Gastel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaus van Gastel in the 46th minute of play forced Oeienbraak's goalkeeper Felix Stout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenneth Pander got his second yellow card in the match during the 47th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Lombok HC booed when Oeienbraak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Pander didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Klaus van Gastel was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oeienbraak's goalkeeper Felix Stout, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brain Rijkaard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Felix Stout when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Felix Stout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaus van Gastel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Stout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klaus van Gastel, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Domenik van Zaanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Joost Sybering took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenik van Zaanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Lombok HC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Victor Lindenbergh hit a great ball. Iwan Ijksma's late challenge caught a Lombok HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iwan Ijksma helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Oeienbraak's Iwan Ijksma got a free kick in the 78th minute. Lombok HC's Jan-Joost Sybering played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenik van Zaanen in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute of the match Benjamin Peeters shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan-Joost Sybering showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Klaus van Gastel might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Stout. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Klaus van Gastel ran back to his position shaking his head. The Lombok HC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Oeienbraak from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
