In the 22ndth minute of the game Carel Homan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schorebrug's Roderick Luijpers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Schorebrug's Ralf Brons slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilfried Derks. That made the score 2-1 after 48 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Arjen de Hondt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Roderick Luijpers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Schorebrug had won after a very even match.
