Yorrick Westerink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralf Brons in the 4th minute of play. Daan Lindeman kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Ralf Brons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Westerink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yorrick Westerink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Brons, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Rafael Pragt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Rein Kruiswijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roderick Luijpers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karsten van den Hoogen in the 18th minute of play forced Schorebrug's goalkeeper Roderick Luijpers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Rafael Pragt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roderick Luijpers. Schorebrug's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Pragt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 28 minutes into the game, Schorebrug's Hans Wilbrink nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yorrick Westerink made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Yorrick Westerink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Brons in the 32nd minute of the match. Richard Klinkhamer hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Yorrick Westerink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Brons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roderick Luijpers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karsten van den Hoogen went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute Rafael Pragt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roderick Luijpers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yorrick Westerink made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hans Wilbrink in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karsten van den Hoogen made a kick off. Karsten van den Hoogen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roderick Luijpers having to interfere. Rafael Pragt's late challenge caught a Schorebrug's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Pragt helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, RKSV Driel's Rafael Pragt got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Ralf Brons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Westerink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RKSV Driel's Yorrick Westerink played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Brons in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute Philip Roelfs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yorrick Westerink saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karsten van den Hoogen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 70th playminute. Yorrick Westerink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Wilbrink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roderick Luijpers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rein Kruiswijk, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Schorebrug's zone, Rafael Pragt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roderick Luijpers came out of the goal and Rafael Pragt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. RKSV Driel had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
