In the 6thth minute of the game Wouter Rijaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but fc asbak's Stephan Ottens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th minute, Wouter Rijaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stephan Ottens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wouter Rijaard in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Wouter Rijaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephan Ottens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurre Hauvers in the 14th minute of play forced fc asbak's goalkeeper Stephan Ottens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wanswerd's Wouter Rijaard got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th match minute, Wanswerd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tjeerd Brinker to maneuver through the defense. After 19 minutes of play, Wanswerd's Jurre Hauvers made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stephan Ottens was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordy Baalman in the 25th minute of play forced Wanswerd's goalkeeper Mark Terpstra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Henk-Jan Groten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mark Terpstra was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After having played for 55 minutes, Wouter Rijaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wanswerd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wouter Rijaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wouter Rijaard in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stephan Ottens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stephan Ottens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tjeerd Brinker's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Tjeerd Janus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Ottens having to interfere. Wouter Rijaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Stephan Ottens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Wouter Rijaard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stephan Ottens. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 75th match minute, fc asbak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk-Jan Groten to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Wouter Rijaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wanswerd's supporters rose to their feet, but Wouter Rijaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stephan Ottens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jurre Hauvers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute.
