Petar Ralenkov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerrit Ebbinge's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Mitchell Meindert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. leasetijgers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deutsche Mannschaft the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in leasetijgers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 16th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Deutsche Mannschaft a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Melvin Nieuwburg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of leasetijgers's Petar Ralenkov. 1-2. Gerrit Ebbinge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petar Ralenkov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Deutsche Mannschaft's Godfried Opdam made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petar Ralenkov was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to leasetijgers getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Wim Jurjens hit a great ball. Gerrit Ebbinge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in leasetijgers's zone, Godfried Opdam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petar Ralenkov came out of the goal and Godfried Opdam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute Godfried Opdam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petar Ralenkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godfried Opdam made a kick off. Petar Ralenkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfried Opdam, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Petar Ralenkov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Godfried Opdam showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 54 minute of play. Gerrit Ebbinge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petar Ralenkov having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, leasetijgers's goalkeeper Petar Ralenkov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerrit Ebbinge. Melvin Nieuwburg's shot from long distance in the 61st minute was not bad at all, but leasetijgers's Petar Ralenkov knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Deutsche Mannschaft's Jan Atsma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roeland Veltrop in the 63rd minute of play. Godfried Opdam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petar Ralenkov having to interfere. Serge Klaasens's late challenge caught a Deutsche Mannschaft's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serge Klaasens helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to leasetijgers getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Serge Klaasens hit a great ball. When Gerrit Ebbinge came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Deutsche Mannschaft fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerrit Ebbinge couldn't finish the play. If Godfried Opdam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of leasetijgers booed when Deutsche Mannschaft was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfred Hoogland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Atsma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roeland Veltrop's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Roeland Veltrop made a precise shot to the right of Jan Atsma. Deutsche Mannschaft's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. After 86 played minutes Deutsche Mannschaft got a freekick which was hit by Godfried Opdam. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roeland Veltrop in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Atsma saved Deutsche Mannschaft from getting behind. In the 96th minute, Arne Kersten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The leasetijgers fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deutsche Mannschaft were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
