In the 10th minute Anthony Boezem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Atsma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerrit Ebbinge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johannes Oosterbaan having to make a save. Jan Atsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Boezem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wim Roeles kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Deutsche Mannschaft's Jan Atsma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Govert van Veldhuizen in the 22nd minute of play. Arne Kersten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gerrit Ebbinge came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Deutsche Mannschaft fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerrit Ebbinge couldn't finish the play. Govert van Veldhuizen struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Jan Atsma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Visserweert. In the 70th match minute, Deutsche Mannschaft was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Kersten to maneuver through the defense. Gerrit Ebbinge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 85th play minute Arjen Roodenburg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jan Atsma. 0-2. In the 88th minute, Jelte Terpstra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute of the match Deutsche Mannschaft got a corner. Visserweert's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Melvin Nieuwburg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Deutsche Mannschaft's Melvin Nieuwburg to fire away a dangerous shot which Johannes Oosterbaan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Godfried Opdam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Oosterbaan having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Visserweert got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Paul Vrieze. Visserweert's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
