Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Thijs Palsma kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Huub Kloppenburg got free with Martien de Groot in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, C.E.C.R. Cambrils's Robert Reis got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Richard de Haan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Masker having to interfere. C.E.C.R. Cambrils's Bruno Masker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egbert Bosstraeten in the 15th minute of play. Bruno Masker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard de Haan's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. 18 minutes in the game, Richard de Haan dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albert Veenhuis in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Masker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to C.E.C.R. Cambrils getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jan-Joost Sluis hit a great ball. In the 25th minute of the match Joris Gerseke shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Masker showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard de Haan in the 29th minute of play forced C.E.C.R. Cambrils's goalkeeper Bruno Masker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Albert Veenhuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard de Haan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Bruno Masker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Masker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Veenhuis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 minutes, Albert Veenhuis made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. C.E.C.R. Cambrils's Bruno Masker tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Masker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Veenhuis in the 47th minute of play. After the first half FC Amstel Kat STOPPED were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albert Veenhuis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bruno Masker made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Richard de Haan sent off a good shot on target. Martien de Groot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thijs Palsma in the 58th minute of the match. Huub Kloppenburg scored 1-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martien de Groot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jordi Wilbrink kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, C.E.C.R. Cambrils's Huub Kloppenburg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martien de Groot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thijs Palsma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Martien de Groot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Albert Veenhuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.E.C.R. Cambrils's Bruno Masker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Veenhuis in the 77th minute of play. If Albert Veenhuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
