Bent were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Tinaarlo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gert Schutrups took the corner. Bent's Gert Schutrups was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dirk-Jan Schie in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 10th minute Daniel Rodenboog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daan van der Werff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bent's Daan van der Werff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Rodenboog in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tinaarlo's Rogier Lensen got a free kick in the 15th minute. Dirk-Jan Schie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gertjan Kiewiet in the 18th minute. Elbert Hekman struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Dirk-Jan Schie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bent. Gertjan Kiewiet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dirk-Jan Schie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elbert Hekman in the 27th minute of play forced Tinaarlo's goalkeeper Dirk-Jan Schie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Rodenboog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Rodenboog in the 32nd minute of play forced Bent's goalkeeper Daan van der Werff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Rob Mulders managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tinaarlo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rob Mulders was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute Rob Mulders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daan van der Werff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rob Mulders recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The tension between the Bent and the Tinaarlo players grew even worse after the yellow card. 64 minutes into the game, Tinaarlo's Rob Mulders nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daan van der Werff made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Rogier Lensen kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Rob Mulders struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Daan van der Werff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tinaarlo. Daniel Rodenboog was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Tinaarlo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 72nd minute, Rob Mulders ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daan van der Werff was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Rob Mulders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Daan van der Werff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rob Mulders could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Daan van der Werff made a huge save. After having played for 78 minutes, Rob Mulders managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tinaarlo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rob Mulders was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Rob Mulders made a precise shot to the right of Daan van der Werff. Bent's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Rob Mulders managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tinaarlo's supporters rose to their feet, but Rob Mulders was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daan van der Werff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tinaarlo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
