Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lucas Baaijen got the match started through his kick off. Gertjan Kiewiet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Arie Grommers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Leendert Valentijn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elbert Hekman in the 11th minute of play forced Roeleveen Eendracht's goalkeeper Arie Grommers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th match minute, Roeleveen Eendracht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leendert Valentijn to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bent booed when Roeleveen Eendracht was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Colen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Gertjan Kiewiet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bent's supporters rose to their feet, but Gertjan Kiewiet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arie Grommers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Bent's zone, Victor Blanc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daan van der Werff came out of the goal and Victor Blanc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Victor Blanc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Blanc who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Daan van der Werff when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gertjan Kiewiet took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arie Grommers. Arie Grommers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jaap de Groot charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaap de Groot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Bent's Jaap de Groot got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Bent's Gertjan Kiewiet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arie Grommers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Elbert Hekman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bent fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elbert Hekman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Bent's zone, Victor Blanc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daan van der Werff came out of the goal and Victor Blanc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 55 played minutes Bent got a freekick which was hit by Gertjan Kiewiet. If Gertjan Kiewiet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Theo Venema fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roeleveen Eendracht's protests and gave Theo Venema a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute Elbert Hekman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arie Grommers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Elbert Hekman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bent's supporters rose to their feet, but Elbert Hekman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arie Grommers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Roeleveen Eendracht getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Arne Dirks hit a great ball. Elbert Hekman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arie Grommers having to interfere. Gertjan Kiewiet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Roeleveen Eendracht getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Giovanni Colen hit a great ball. After 82 minutes, Wim Stam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bent and the Roeleveen Eendracht players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bent's Wim Stam got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Arne Dirks didn't quite understand what happened when in the 84 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. With a little luck, Roeleveen Eendracht's Arie Grommers got control of the ball when Gertjan Kiewiet tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Jaap Mülder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 94 minutes, Victor Blanc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roeleveen Eendracht's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Blanc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robin Schiphouwer's late challenge caught a Roeleveen Eendracht's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Schiphouwer helped the player get up and apologised.
