After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Lukas Janssen managed to get in a good position for a shot. curacau nigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukas Janssen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nico-Jan Kremer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Snoeks got free with Theo Janssen in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Theo Janssen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Wansink in the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Leon Snoeks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wadenoyen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Snoeks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Theo Janssen was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Alex Wansink capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alex Wansink really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a little luck, curacau nigers's Theo Janssen got control of the ball when Leon Snoeks tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guus Brugmans charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guus Brugmans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Wadenoyen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guus Brugmans to maneuver through the defense. Leon Snoeks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Janssen having to interfere. In the 28th minute Alex Wansink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Janssen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andy Zwartkruis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Theo Janssen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Wansink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Janssen having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Leon Snoeks made a precise shot to the right of Theo Janssen. curacau nigers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 43 minutes into the match, Wadenoyen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lukas Janssen came free, but Nico-Jan Kremer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex Wansink was the one to do the kick off. Lukas Janssen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Gerard Castelen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lukas Janssen struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Nico-Jan Kremer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for curacau nigers. Leon Snoeks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Theo Janssen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roderick Kolkman got free with Nico-Jan Kremer in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of curacau nigers booed when Wadenoyen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guus Brugmans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Lukas Janssen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 75 played minutes curacau nigers got a freekick which was hit by Steven Bender. Alex Wansink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Wansink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Theo Janssen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theo Janssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Snoeks, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Leon Snoeks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Janssen having to interfere. Alex Wansink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Snoeks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Janssen having to interfere. If Leon Snoeks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Wadenoyen FC's Alex Wansink in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye curacau nigers's goalie prevented a goal. Alex Wansink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Theo Janssen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wadenoyen FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
