An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Carlo Klasens got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Gert Owusu Abeyie came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Molenvliet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gert Owusu Abeyie couldn't finish the play. Demy de Zee kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maikel Ekelhoff in the 27th minute of play forced Molenvliet's goalkeeper Freek Bas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Maikel Ekelhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freek Bas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Maikel Ekelhoff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freek Bas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maikel Ekelhoff in the 60th minute of the match. Jan-Peter Kuijsten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freek Bas having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Carlo Klasens made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Huizen. Holkerveen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With a little luck, Molenvliet's Freek Bas got control of the ball when Jan-Peter Kuijsten tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Holkerveen players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
