Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cees Ooijer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Felix Saarloos scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pieter Scheer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pitteperk S.V.'s goalkeeper Gerrie Graaf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Teun Hoving left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pitteperk S.V. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Teun Hoving struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Pieter Scheer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pitteperk S.V.. With a little luck, Pitteperk S.V.'s Gerrie Graaf got control of the ball when Boudewijn Venema tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mean Machine's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Saarloos in the 42nd minute of play forced Mean Machine's goalkeeper Pieter Scheer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerrie Graaf made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boudewijn Venema in the 44th minute. Felix Saarloos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter Scheer having to interfere. In the 48th minute Cees Ooijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerrie Graaf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Felix Saarloos made the kick off in the second half. Gerrie Graaf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cees Ooijer in the 55th minute of the match. Boudewijn Venema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gerrie Graaf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerrie Graaf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boudewijn Venema in the 60th minute of play. Mean Machine's Pieter Scheer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Saarloos in the 65th minute of play. Teun Hoving's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Pieter Scheer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pieter Scheer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Saarloos, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 87 minutes, Serge Bouwens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mean Machine and the Pitteperk S.V. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Serge Bouwens.
