Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bennie Kloppenburg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Jurjen Breugel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Old South Eagles's René van den Berg tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bennie Kloppenburg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Langezwaag's goalkeeper René Savenije, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Bennie Kloppenburg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Old South Eagles's supporters rose to their feet, but Bennie Kloppenburg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. René Savenije breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bennie Kloppenburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Egbert van Dessel was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Langezwaag's goalkeeper René Savenije, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joris Aalst's late challenge caught a Old South Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joris Aalst helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Langezwaag getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Joris Aalst hit a great ball. Carlo Rogaars struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. René Savenije didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Old South Eagles. In the 62nd minute, Simon Oosterbaan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Langezwaag's goal looked a bit too open when Bennie Kloppenburg came free, but René Savenije reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Joris Bok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egbert van Dessel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Timo Everts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joris Bok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timo Everts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egbert van Dessel in the 76th minute of play. Joris Aalst was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Joris Aalst kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Egbert van Dessel hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Carlo Rogaars received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. René Savenije tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Old South Eagles's Bennie Kloppenburg got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joris Bok got free with Timo Everts in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Joris Bok fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Langezwaag's protests and gave Joris Bok a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Langezwaag got a freekick which was hit by Joris Bok. Old South Eagles were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Langezwaag for a fine match.
