Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lex Bot got the match started through his kick off. If Arnout Zwiers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Lex Bot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jan Vrieze was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 14 minutes into the match, Prichart's Elco Naaijer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pierre van Persie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jan Vrieze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerjan Roewen, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute Gerjan Roewen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Vrieze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerjan Roewen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnout Zwiers got free with Pierre van Persie in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Driehuizen's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Elco Naaijer 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Jan Vrieze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Polak in the 36th minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Driehuizen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerjan Roewen to maneuver through the defense. Cor Velthuis kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Driehuizen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Falco Sterenberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Prichart's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper, Pierre van Persie, was totally fooled by Prichart's Falco Sterenberg, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gerjan Roewen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan Vrieze came out and tried to block the shot, but Gerjan Roewen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Driehuizen's zone, Elco Naaijer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre van Persie came out of the goal and Elco Naaijer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Elco Naaijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Driehuizen's Cor Velthuis got a free kick in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Arnout Zwiers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prichart's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnout Zwiers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre van Persie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elco Naaijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Pierre van Persie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pierre van Persie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnout Zwiers, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Lex Bot charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lex Bot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Prichart booed when Driehuizen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lex Bot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Elco Naaijer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prichart's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elco Naaijer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Driehuizen's Pierre van Persie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elco Naaijer in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elco Naaijer in the 89th minute of play forced Driehuizen's goalkeeper Pierre van Persie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute Elco Naaijer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre van Persie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
