Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dirk Jan Booy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dirk Jan Booy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Lex Kinear tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chris Pietersma got free with Lex Kinear in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lex Kinear took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dirk Jan Booy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roeland Masker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dick Wessel having to interfere. Dirk Jan Booy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 22 minutes, Roeland Masker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bentem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roeland Masker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Steve Dijken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roeland Masker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th match minute, Vlietwijk Eendracht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sjors Elshot to maneuver through the defense. Dick Wessel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roeland Masker in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Steve Dijken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dick Wessel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Steve Dijken in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dick Wessel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Steve Dijken managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bentem's supporters rose to their feet, but Steve Dijken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dick Wessel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 40 played minutes Bentem got a freekick which was hit by Roeland Masker. The supporters of Bentem booed when Vlietwijk Eendracht was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Willems didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bentem getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Mathijs Klinkhamer hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roeland Masker was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Vlietwijk Eendracht getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Florian Ommen hit a great ball. Roeland Masker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vlietwijk Eendracht's goalkeeper Dick Wessel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 55 played minutes Vlietwijk Eendracht got a freekick which was hit by Florian Ommen. Chris Pietersma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Vlietwijk Eendracht's zone, Roeland Masker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dick Wessel came out of the goal and Roeland Masker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Bentem's Giel Bijl got a free kick in the 81st minute. Vlietwijk Eendracht's Erik Willems got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lex Kinear made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk Jan Booy in the 84th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Dijken got free with Dick Wessel in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute Steve Dijken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dick Wessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Herman Cornelisse fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bentem's protests and gave Herman Cornelisse a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bentem's Herman Cornelisse got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The Bentem players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
