Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Willem Elshot kicked off to start the match. Corné Vennegoor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Roelof Hemmen made a huge save. Otto Scheepstra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jelte Heida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Otto Scheepstra came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Opijnen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otto Scheepstra couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcus Ponk during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Opijnen's Marcus Ponk got a free kick in the 16th minute. Roelof Hemmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willem Elshot in the 17th minute of play. Otto Scheepstra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jelte Heida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bas Rooze during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bas Rooze kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Otto Scheepstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jelte Heida having to interfere. Roelof Hemmen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Corné Vennegoor in the 33rd minute. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Opijnen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bram Zuiverloon was slow to take the kick. During this time Bazuin FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Bazuin FC's corner Bram Zuiverloon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roelof Hemmen quite easily take care of the ball. Roelof Hemmen was a little too slow when Willem Elshot got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Jelte Heida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfried Höhenstein, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Corné Vennegoor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roelof Hemmen was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Marcus Ponk hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Otto Scheepstra made a precise shot to the right of Jelte Heida. Bazuin FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Bram Zuiverloon kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of Opijnen booed when Bazuin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Lindenbergh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jelte Heida didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 77th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. When Corné Vennegoor came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Bazuin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corné Vennegoor couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Opijnen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bazuin FC.
