Ronald Planting ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 17th minute, Robin Keupink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Warm VV's Erben de Jong got a free kick in the 19th minute. Corné Vennegoor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoon Meerdink having to interfere. Edgard Sloothaak's late challenge caught a Bazuin FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Sloothaak helped the player get up and apologised. Jelte Heida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klaas Bijlsma in the 28th minute. The nice shot from Klaas Bijlsma in the 30thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Jelte Heida had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Warm VV's zone, Corné Vennegoor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antoon Meerdink came out of the goal and Corné Vennegoor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Corné Vennegoor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willem Elshot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antoon Meerdink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willem Elshot in the 52nd minute of play. Corné Vennegoors short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Antoon Meerdink to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Bazuin FC booed when Warm VV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Sloothaak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antoon Meerdink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willem Elshot in the 54th minute of the match. Erben de Jong kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Edgard Sloothaak notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bazuin FC's Jelte Heida. Jelte Heida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jelte Heida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Planting in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Bram Zuiverloon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jelte Heida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronald Planting in the 67th minute of the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Ronald Planting managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warm VV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronald Planting was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The attack was good, but when Ronald Planting in the 77th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Klaas Bijlsma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Ronald Planting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jelte Heida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Warm VV's Klaas Bijlsma got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 90 minutes of play Warm VV's Edgard Sloothaak was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Edgard Sloothaak kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Willem Elshot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Antoon Meerdink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Willem Elshot rounded Warm VV's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Bazuin FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Warm VV had controlled the match.
