Rik Landzaat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Severijnse having to interfere. Diependal's Edgard Sibon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marick Meulman in the 11th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Eddy Klok notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Diependal's Edgard Sibon. Edgard Sibon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lauradorp's Geert Arend Ruben got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edgard Sibon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddy Klok, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Joris Lammers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes Lauradorp got a freekick which was hit by Bernard van Driest. When Eddy Klok came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Lauradorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddy Klok couldn't finish the play. When Geert Arend Ruben came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Lauradorp fans jumped to their feet. Bernard van Driest kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Rik Landzaat rounded Lauradorp's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Diependal's Edgard Sibon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geert Arend Ruben in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geert Arend Ruben to strike the kick off in the second half. Eddy Klok came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edgard Sibon could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geert Arend Ruben in the 56th minute of play forced Diependal's goalkeeper Edgard Sibon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Sibon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eddy Klok in the 61st minute. Geert Arend Ruben recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eddy Klok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Severijnse came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Diependal's Joris Lammers. But to his dismay, Joris Lammers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rik Landzaat in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Severijnse saved Lauradorp from getting behind. When Eddy Klok came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Lauradorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddy Klok couldn't finish the play. Edgard Sibon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geert Arend Ruben's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Diependal's goalkeeper Edgard Sibon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eddy Klok. Ronald Helwig took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgard Sibon. Diependal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 84 played minutes Diependal got a freekick which was hit by Rick de Zeeuw. Eddy Klok scored 3-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgard Sibon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emile Zenden kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Diependal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lauradorp for a fine match.
