Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Philippine's Sjoerd Blikman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Philippine's Pim Das played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ger Clarijs in the 4th minute of play. Sebastiaan Waesbergen hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Alfred Zoetebier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomas Colen. Deijleroord FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfred Zoetebier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Deijleroord FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sjoerd Blikman came free, but Tomas Colen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sjoerd Blikman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Mart Ros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deijleroord FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mart Ros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pim Das breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute Wessel Swerts suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 24 minutes, Gerben Gentenaar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Philippine and the Deijleroord FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Philippine getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Gerben Gentenaar hit a great ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Mario Heitinga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deijleroord FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Heitinga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
After a rather tough play, Philippine's Gerben Gentenaar got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Philippine's zone, Mart Ros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pim Das came out of the goal and Mart Ros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ger Clarijs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Pim Das tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mart Ros hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabiën Vrieze during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomas Colen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Zoetebier, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Mart Ros struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Pim Das didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deijleroord FC. Ger Clarijs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th match minute, Philippine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sjoerd Blikman to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Pierre Hansma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ger Clarijs struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Pim Das didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deijleroord FC. The Philippine players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
